I'm still in US scouts, as an adult volunteer. Here, unlike EVERY OTHER COUNTRY, there are separate troops for boys and girls, and its kinda frowned on for an unmarried man with no daughters to volunteer with girl scouts. The best ive got is venturing, which is coed, but they have to be 14 to join. A little old, but i make do. Shota not really my thing.

I never quit, just took time off away from the program to prepare to be a leader. Lord Baden-Powell also frowns on lustful thoughts towards the scouts. Venturers and Rovers on the other hand are fairer game. So help you you abuse my Cubs or Scouts, I'll cut you real bad, the Scouts would cut you worse. They are crazy when they finally get to carry their knives, spend most their free time at camp practicing fast opening and throwing them, some are actually pretty good at throwing a pocket knife. Also you have the ones who take it to the limit and carry 3 knives; 1 swiss army, 1 4 inch folding blade and 1 6 inch fixed blade with sheath. They are the knife fanatics whom are always playing with their knives and making tooth picks from large branches. My brother is one of those, I taught him knife handling skills.

Hell, i never do anything but look, am in an adult relationship, and its good, i just enjoy variety. I would never, ever touch a scout. Like you said, they can carry knives.
