This is not correct, is it? It means something completely different?

I have never seen or heard it used, but I suspect it is American English, and so should be avoided, as American English is a corruption of English. This is indisputable for any stupid American that might be offended at this due to a lack of intelligence.

@52,890It's not standard American English. It's queue. When I add movies to my Blockbuster account they go in a queue. There's a sign at my pharmacy that shows where the queue begins.
The dude was probably just unaware of how it's spelled, that's all. Chill out.

You're correct, they're different words. A queue is some form or line, list or sequence that proceeds in some sort of standard way whereas a 'cue' is some form of a prompt.
One might 'cue up' a tape by placing the tape at a certain spot for later playback or one might 'wait for your cue' when performing in a play.

@OPAs previously mentioned, cue is like, the time or a signal to do something, like a cue to come on stage, or a cue to shut the fuck up. A queue is a line or a waiting area. You get put in a queue at amusement parks, or you are in a queue to download a file on Shitwire.
