Is spore going to just be forthe newgen consoles? or are they making a PS2 version as well? or possibly PC

Spore is a game where the player assumes the role of an "intelligent designer." You guide your favored lifeform through every aspect of it's development, from single celled organism all the way to interstellar empire. If you choose to, you can expand your game by allowing Spore to download other player's lifeforms to interact with your own.

Um… source? Not wanting to releasing it for the PS3 is not the same as not being able to do it.

Nothing has been confirmed, however Spore will be coming out for the PC and the Nintendo DS. That is all that have been confirmed from the official Spore website. Unsure if the game will be released on other consoles, but the PC version is the real one to get. I suggest you get that one.
