I'm on my second day here at college, classes do not begin for a few more days. I'm looking for tips to survive both academically and socially. Thanks!

The most important thing I can suggest is always get at least 7 hours of sleep. Make sure your wake-up times are consistent, every day, even on the weekends and holidays. When buying food, consider whole grain food, veggies, fruits, etc, before junk food. Its more expensive, but its more filling and will give you more energy. Make sure your dorm room is always presentable. Focus on self-discipline and don't put shit off. Study at least an hour total every day.

As soon as you get there unpack and organize your room properly or it will never get done all year.
Keep on top of tidying your room so you aren't ashamed of letting friends in, maybe even lady friends, wink wink.
Don't be tempted to sleep in and mess up your sleeping patterns, even if you can, being awake at 4am when you have a lecture at 9am is no fun.
Keep your notes and handouts organized, sort them every day.
Don't let your life become ruled by caffeinated highs and lows, I got badly hooked on it this year, staying awake late because I have had caffeine, getting up after three hours sleep and having more caffeine, so it goes on.
I know none of the above are to do with anything social but I have learned from experience that following them will make you happier.
Socially I think I have only learned one thing, you will meet a lot of new people some people will be too arrogant or whatever to accept your friendship, fuck them, you will actually find you make your best friends in the strangest of circumstances. :)

It's not that hard man. Just keep your priorities straight (work first, party afterward). I know a lot of kids who dropped out of college because they partied too damn much and apparently they didn't have any self-control.

Do your necessary shit first. That means yes, work and study first. After you've got your work done and you've studied to the point where you think you could pass whatever tests you might have… THEN… feel free to party and socialize. I'm not saying be a closet shut in or anything but you're going to school for an education first and foremost. You're also paying a fuckload of money to do it. So don't be an idiot and blow it off.

3) Don't schedule AM classes
4) Don't take your AP credits (if you go to a good school ie. state school fags can) you will pay the price. take the classes you already took and get a good grade. It is good to start off on the right foot. An A in calculus I looks way better than a B- in Calculus II
5) Be social faggot
6) Get laid, it does wonders for your confidence
7) Do drugs, its the only time in your life it is social acceptable and forgivable
8) Fuck young girls… it is awesome
9) Take interesting classes with well respected profs (again sorry state school fags)
10) Pound pussy… college pussy is the bestest… its all down hill from there

Take two hours a day as study time, nothing else.
Go someplace away from your dorm or apartment to study.
If you are all caught up on current work read future chapters.
Find hot study partners, the hottest chick will study with an ugly dude.
Study with them, get to know them, and they you. Then bang them.
