I don't believe for a second that he has actually read all the shitty books that he claims that he "found interesting" when he has the author as a guest. I think that somebody else reads it for him and then tells him what to think 10 minutes before the show.
Lying bastards.

I'm fully in agreement.
What most likely happens is that one of his staff is tasked with reading the book and presenting an executive summary to the host.

@54,645I can read a lenghty novel in a day. And yeah, I agree. He probably doesn't read. I can't help but think that most celebs don't read. Why would they when they're filthy rich and could be doing rich people shit like fucking hot women and going on vacation?

@54,647> I can read a lengthy novel in a day. So could Jay Leno, I'm sure. The point is that he's a celebrity that has to go through makeup, attend sessions with the writers and perform in rehersal while you're busy reading a book.

@54,650Um… no? You cannot possibly read it properly then.

Well, so can I. And a few of my friends can do it to. We're not just breezing through it either, we can comprehend it. I good novel for me would be like ~500 pages with small text.

Sounds like the doubters here haven't been to grad school. I can't even remember how many times I've had to read 500-600 pages of terrible academic speak in one night and actually be expected to have a reasonable/well-thought out opinion of it the next day. Your mind gets used to it after awhile. After that reading something for pleasure or something that's actually well written becomes very easy.
