So I think I'm going to break up with my gf. Thing is, she deserves being broke up with in person. Where should I do it? Just like go over to her house, and do it and be done? Meet her somewhere?
ITT: Where you broke up with your last gf.

Either do it on completely neutral ground (in the park, at a pub) or at your own place. This way, she will leave and not you, which conveys a message of higher value and should make it easier on you.
I agree that you should do it in person. Phone/text/e-mail/IM is spineless to go about this kind of thing. If you're half a man you can tell it to her face.

My last girlfriend broke up with me at our favorite spot by the beach, near the park. (Yes, a beach near a park.) It hurt. I walked home crying, after I couldn't hold back the tears.
Anyways, Break up with her in a place where you meet up. And uhh, please. Offer her some company if she needs it.

@54,915This man speaks the truth, by the way. If you must break up with a girl, do it face to face. I hate that shit where they call/im/text you saying they want to end it.
It's bullshit.

My last boyfriend broke up with me via phone and did not think it was too bad. In fact, I liked it better that way, because I did not want him to see my face after he said it's over. This way I could whisper an "It's okay" into the phone, then hang up and burst into tears.
Text message sucks, but on the phone you can at least have a real time conversation, when you need/want one.

Don't do it at your own place, or her place. Neutral ground.

Why do you want to break up with her? Whenever I hear of a failed relationship it makes me want to cry :(. And if I ever found my ideal girlfriend, I would suicide if she left me.

@54,924Saying stuff like that is probably the reason you don't have a GF right now. Girls aren't really attracted to that kind of mindset, y'know. "I love you, but if you leave me I'll kill myself" is probably the lowest form of emotional blackmail in existence.

@54,929I don't mean I would threaten her with it, rather I would do it without making a fuss, as I am already an emotional wreck, and I can only imagine what would happen if my speculative girlfriend left me.

@54,924He's probably the kind of guy that doesn't take relationships lightly, I am too. It might make sense for some people that regularly change relationships, but we like the idea of finding that one perfect girl more. So I'm interested in knowing how intimate the relationship was, and what caused the break up?

There was a soccer field in between my house and her house.
Do it somewhere where there is no people around, and away from either of your homes.
Make sure you offer to walk her home safely after as well.
That way, you won't taint an area in either home so that when you pass by it, it gives you bad memories.

We've been going out for a little over 11 months.
Multiple reasons for break up. One of them being going to be out of the country and rather secluded for next 6 months. Others include I feel kind of used by her. Anyways though, don't know if this helps at all.

My boyfriend broke up with me in his house, after sex, which meant I had to get dressed in front of him afterwards, and then rely on him to drive me home after, which just felt really awkward
Neutral ground, like everyone else has said.
