Does anyone else get emotional when listening to metal, feel good, a hero (I know that music is prone to elicit strong emotion, but I'm talking about metal specifically)? Fantasise about flying on the back of a nazgul (Summoning), etc., etc. I won't go into my fantasies. In any case, anyone else get this?

You feel like a hero when listening to certain music? I don't know what "metal" sounds like, but yes, I get emotional/nostalgic when listening to good music in general. Anyone who doesn't isn't a human being IMO.

I know what you're talking about, and I think you people that specifically listen to metal for that high are nut heads. You crazy people fantasizing about being 7 foot tall barbarians with giant battle axes riding fire breathing dragons. At least that's how one my friends describes it.

@55,028Haha, sounds good. If I had a car, I would do that too. I like to walk around in public, wearing my headphones. I'm usually shy and awkward around other people, but this music sets me in a mood where I can deal with them more easily.
