I just got back my test results. It's an 82. Is this good enough?!

I should probably mention that I want a Bachelor of Arts or something like that.

It all depends on what university, and how you plan to get there. 82% on what? Some schools are much harder to get into than others. Personally I went through a community college for my first two years, and those credits all transferred to my state uni. I didn't have to worry about entrance exams or competing, because I was automatically accepted as part of my CC's program.

Yes, a B avg will get you into most Universities, although you can rule out Ivy League. I don't know the rules in every state but in Florida if you go to community college first then all your credits transfer and once you have an AA degree the 4 year institutions are legally required to accept you. I went straight to UF (4.7Gpa/4.0, damn honors point) but my fiance (~3.5GPA) went to community college first to get her degree (Nursing). It actually saved her a lot of money and no one gives a damn how you got the degree, just that you have it. All that information (class demographics, average GPA, SAT/ACT score, etc) is readily available at various sites or at the websites of the schools themselves. Find one in your range and apply. Good luck.
