So yeah it will lead to blindness, but will looking at the sun through a digital camera with an LCD screen be dangerous?
What about looking at the sun using reading glasses? Video camera? Sunglasses?

Explain

Educated guesses:
Through either camera would probably be fine, through sunglasses it wouldn't be as damaging, but still wouldn't be at all good for you, and I can't imagine that reading glasses would offer any protection whatsoever
I could be wrong though.

my sunglasses are so strong you cant use them while driving ,so i watched solar eclipse with them, dunno about the rest tho. you can watch sun through films in cameras or vcr's.

Looking at the sun from a external screen is ok since the source of the light is from the screen not the sun.

Never look directly at the sun without special equipment meant for looking at the sun or you will become blind/damage your eyes.

What if you look at something near the sun, but not directly at it? Like if you were driving home at 5:00pm with out deploying the visors.

Not good for your eyes. Basic rule is if you are squinting that is your body telling you that there is too much light. This is not a Law or anything but a good rule of thumb. Post about cameras was right, pictures of the sun are not the sun itself and don't hurt your eyes, obviously.
