Hello AT. Anyway, yesterday I saw a spider - medium size, black body (?) and long black legs with yellowish stripes, but it escaped. I killed it this morning but i noticed the tiny spider couple of minutes ago that seems to resemble the big one (black, yellow stripes etc.). I have no idea how spiders reproduce or anything, but I think that i might have killed it's mother.
A thought occurred to me, for some reason, that I might keep this little dude as a pet. Maybe I feel guilty for killing his mother, or do I find it cool to have a spider as a pet. I don't know really, but does anyone know how should i treat him?
Oh and I tried googling for what kind of spider he is and pretty much came up with nothing. Thanks.

Kill it. Spiders are not worth anything but a painful death.

There is no logical reason for you to feel guilty about killing a spider as it's life is inconsequential to yours. Feel free to do whatever you want with the spiders. I suggest putting them outside or simply killing them. But of course you may keep it as a pet if you want to. I am afraid that I can not help you with how to look after the spider other than guessing.
Maybe you can keep the spider in a glass tube or box. As long as enough air is getting in but it can't climb out it would be fine. You could direct flies or small insects into the container for the spider to eat. A small amount of water would also be important for it's survival but try not to get the spider's body wet due to the weight of the water on it's body. You could simply have the water in a small puddle towards one side of the container.
Just some thoughts.

pets shops have spiders. they usually have a pretty closed glass cage, a little water, a tiny tree and lots of warmth. if the spiders were living where oyu are atm they should be fine without extra heating tho. so maybe some leaves he can eat and a lil water will do.

pet spiders are flawed. they are un social creaters. IT WILL NOT go ut of its habbit to bite you or be scared of youeven if you do attempt to hand raise it. If they where then the "milking" of spiders would be done. bcause …their silk is stronger and lighter than steel in equivilent amounts. thats why their tryna put spider silk genes into goats..so they can juice that sweet sweet silk outta them… dont kill it let it out or if you want it as your pet…dont contain it put it in a window corner it'll take care of its self and kill/eat them dead flies that just die there cuz their stupid…Acctualy fuck all that…just let the spider bite you.

Many years ago, my grandfather and I kept a pet spider in a fish tank filled with soil and leaves and sticks and what-not, with a lamp attached to it to simulate day and night. It was good fun. But I was like seven years old, and even eventually felt that it was immoral. I didn't believe in God (I became an atheist at five) then, and had felt it was wrong to play God, so I grabbed the spider in a cup, put my hand over the top to keep him inside, and put him in the bushes. He happily crawled away, and I felt content.
