I have to sit here for up to four hours and babysit my telephone. I cannot fap or shit or do anything because then I might miss them. They can call/knock on the door at any time. It's making me a wreck every time… :-(

It's true. I can't stand when a vendor takes it upon themselves to mark something 'signature required.' And not just the kind where I can sign the little slip and have them drop it off at the office the next day, I need to be there, at my home, in person, to sign it when they're there.
Christ people, I drop $900/mo to my landlords every month. I'm going to be able to trust them with a $50 piece of equipment for a couple hours.

The service is pretty bad too. I'm sick of delivery guys mashing my doorbell like it just called their mother a whore, then deciding no one's home after waiting about 5 seconds…

I've had guys where i've already been on the other side of the door when they ring/knock, and are half way back to their van by the time you open the door.
I had to go through the waiting thing with a $200 power supply the other week,
worst thing was i didnt' even know what day it was going to be.
