Now this isn't referring to me or anything. I am just curious because there always seems to be phobias for the weirdest shit and I am wondering if there is a phobia for being gay? Do people with this phobia often times are the ones that come out of the closet and admit they are gay? Do they worry they are, but are relived when they find out they aren't? Sorry for the weird questions, but these things interest me.

Are you perhaps speaking of Homophobia? Beyond prejudice against homosexual people, it also refers to being afraid of being gay.

I hate the term homophobia as it is used against people who disagree with some element of the deviant homosexual agenda. I don't like stinky things, but I'm not scared of stinky things.

I was wondering why the word phobia was used in a word that is suppose to me, "hatrid of gays." At least in this time period that is. I was wondering if the original description for the world had something to do with fear.

@57,843Could it also refer to the fear of gay people? Perhaps most homophobics just say they hate homosexuals, because they secretly fear them? That means most religious fork might be afraid of gay people. Laugh out loud.

I'd ask you to do it here but I don't want to go further off topic.

I'm sure people that have lifestyles that can not support that nature (Pastors, Politicians, etc), but truly are deeply attracted to the same gender, may fear it. I don't see why anyone else would fear a group of people defined by nothing other than a common behavior or fear the behavior itself.

@57,870Perhaps Pastors fear being sucked into by the devil's temptations?

Of course there is a fear like this !
I also read about the fear of being a pedophile, this actually gets more and more common!!
