Do you think people become gay or lesbian (or whatever sinful activity they may want to have) because they're just unable to attract the opposite sex ?

Not exclusively, but I certainly believe that it happens. Seriously. I have myself started lusting for penises because I never, ever get any response from any decent-looking woman. Men, on the other hand, are always horny and the penis is very sexy. The rest of the male body is disgusting, though. I would only want to be with a guy for the sex.

Maybe in rare cases people will be desperate enough to want cock if they really can't score with the opposite sex, but in most people's cases (in mine, for example), the attraction to members of the same sex begins a long time before even considering trying to get a date or anything like that. I started 'noticing' other boys at around 10-11, roughly the same time most boys tell me they started 'noticing' girls for the first time, and up to that point both myself and other boys had had equal experience of rejection/acceptance by the opposite sex: none.
Besides that, I consider myself rather attractive.

For some reason, I always thought that lesbians were never attractive. I'm sure there are probably a few decent looking ones, but I've never actually seen a "smoking hot" lesbian (and by lesbian, I mean lesbian, not girls who are bi or like experimenting).

homosexuality is given by the brain structures. A straight man brain will have 1 part feminine and 2 parts masculine. A woman instead will have 2 parts feminine and 1 part masculine. When in a man's body will be too much estrogen during his fetal stage, his brain will be a feminine one( 2 parts feminine 1 part masculine)that man will discover in his teenage that he is homosexual, and the same goes with girls. I have some lesbian friends and some of them are more the butchy type of lesbian, some are feminine and quite attractive. None of them is bisexual and only one or two ever tried being with a men, so no - "ugly" women do not become gay out of desperation. Douchebag.
