It's like they're not even trying. This is the advertisement equivalent of flinging shit.

I doubt Mac can make that guy look that good in a dress. PC FTW.

Meh. It was as mediocre as all of the other mud-flinging ads around. Not really all that funny, either. Offensive, at least.

What the hell is so fun about making movies? I've never had a Mac, but based on their commercials, they are good for music, movies, and pictures. What about computer games?

The thing I hate most about the Mac vs PC commercials is that they're actually Mac vs Windows commercials, and most people are too stupid to realize it. The operating system is personal preference, and PCs are superior to Macs in every conceivable way.

I've realized that the commercials are actually Windows vs Mac, but there is a difference between PCs and Macs? What kind of hardware makes the PC different from a Mac? I thought they were all really the same.

The main advantage to a Mac is that you get to use Apple's superior operating system, Mac OS X. After getting to know OS X, Windows really is an absolute joke. No DLL files, drivers, blue screens, dumbing down, endless "help" pages & wizards, viruses… Everything makes sense, looks great & is just more thought out.

Everybody would be using OS X if it were available for PC's, but you are forced to buy Apple's hardware to run it. This makes owning a Mac quite different to owning a jigsaw PC. You can't upgrade your Mac's graphics card or CPU, so you tend to sell it & buy a new one every three years or whatever suits. Take a look at the prices of second hand Mac's and you'll see they have high resale value.

Macs can also run Windows programs, or dual boot into a full Windows environment for some games which don't have an OS X launcher.

The advertisement above compared the finesse of Microsoft's iMovie clone to the original. Since much of Windows is a blatant copy of what the Mac did better years before, you can apply this exaggeration to the whole computing experience.

I really don't have any of these problems. Maybe Macs are better for the computer novice. I like PCs because I can just build them. Since I really don't do much with movies or music, I don't think I'll miss anything the Mac has.

I don't care what you prefer, the new vista ads rock.

Apple is fucking stupid because they won't let other people run their software. This is why I have always disliked them. Take a look at the OpenPC stuff by psystar, they're running macOS yet being sued because Mac didn't approve their hardware.

Hell I'm a linux guy anyways, I only use windows to play video games.

And ah yes, one more thing, a Mac tends to cost twice as much as a PC with similar hardware attributes. I bought my laptop for $1500, a similar Mac Pro cost nearly $3000. What's up with that?
