A 100% silver dagger woud be extremely malleable. You would need an alloy metal of some sort, perhaps copper.
Don't worry, it will still look silver to the human eye, and will only have to contain maybe 0.003% of the other metal. That's all it takes to reinforce a soft metal like silver or gold.

Silver is too soft to hold an edge. Get it silver plated. Or better yet, get some silver bullets made for your .44 Magnum.

You'd only need it to be silver tipped or plated, a pure silver dagger would be heavy and soft.
