My schooldays are kind of drawing to a close, fucking hurrah right? Wrong. I have 7 examinations ranging from 3 hours, to and hour and 15 minutes in length. The days until my first exam just keep on evaporating but not even this is enough to motivate me to "study hard" or "knuckle down". I have only ever found one thing that could get me going, on a roll, whatever you want to call it, but that happened to be prescription drugs that I uh… no longer longer have access to. So what should I do AT?

Get some adderall from a friend with ADHD.

Those are the drugs I mentioned I no longer have access to, there's just no one left in my school, or town for that matter who has ADHD or any other condition like that. Any other ideas?

Adderall is no good at all for this, it works okay for a while, but then brings you crashing down a few hours later.

One effect of ADD is that the harder you concentrate, the less focused you become. It's a really horrible and paradoxical problem that's frustrating to deal with. This isn't just the regular case of a lazy person who doesn't want to do work. It's like having your brake switched with your gas pedal; the more you try to slow down, the faster you go. Adderall fixes this problem. However, it really only works for people who have the problem in the first place. If you don't have this problem, Adderall will not help you much.

Regular people wouldn't normally need Adderall to "buckle down," they can concentrate regardless. Seeing how you can't seem to "buckle down" without the Adderall, I suggest you go see a psychologist and find out if you really have ADD or not. That way, you can just take care of your problem without trying to get prescription drugs illegally.
