Topic: Why did they make the "nerd" in The Office so annoying in the USA version?

In the UK version, he was much more… likable. In the USA version, he seems almost… evil!

Advertisement: English Wikipedia, while generally a superb resource, can always use another contributor.

Who, Dwight? He's hysterical! I think his unlikability is what makes him so friggin hilarious! He's also one of the most popular (with fans) characters on the US version.
