Topic: Why would anyone want to watch porn in public?

Like… at an Internet cafe? Or watch a porno with friends? It's not like you can fap? I don't get it. Porn without fapping is worthless.

I never understood it myself; strip-clubs are what I'm thinking of, specifically. All it does is make you horny; you can just go on the internet and do the same, no? and I bet it'd cost less. I realize there's the whole grinding thing, but still, to what end?

For many people, orgasm is not the primary goal of an erotic experience. In the case of strip clubs, you can interact with the strippers and other patrons as well as consume alcohol and listen to music. In the case of watching porn with your friends, you can compare interest and talk about it just as if you were watching baseball together, and there is nothing saying you can't actually masturbate with them in the room (unless you are not comfortable with your bodies). There are several other things that can make your time enjoyable, but as I said before orgasm isn't the goal of a lot of people you can enjoy eroticism and sexuality without physical stimulation.

He's not pretending to be you, he's responding to the poster above him that just answered his question.

Are you completely sure about this? Do a lot of people actually think this way? For sex, I don't view the orgasm as the ultimate goal. The experiences only before and after the orgasm are the enjoyable parts. For pornography, I always thought that orgasm is the only goal. I can't imagine someone watching pornography just to enjoy it without physical stimulation. When I'm with my friends, we might admire women in public. Pornography is a whole other thing though.

I'd guess it to be a 50/50 thing considering just how many people are in the world, all with unique sex drives. For people with lower sex drives than you, or people who don't often look at porn, it seems fairly obvious that they can be fully satisfied with less stimulation. You can also look at it from an artistic perspective, where people look at nudity like a painting or even just regular television. Some people look at porn for ideas to spice things up in the bedroom, and some people are just turned on and gratified by ideas like bdsm so much so that they never even think about having an orgasm.
