What language does it need to be in and what does it need to do? I can make something pretty decent in mIRC code.

A tip to Sysop: Rent a shell from say, xzibition.com, then setup an eggdrop, custom python/perl bot, etc.

mIRC scripting is not portable and with mIRC having all its insecurities, over all is not a wise choice.

No. This is why I asked somebody to host an IRC bot.

Currently my router is broken, but when it works again I'll gladly host an IRC-bot on my server.

I don't understand what you mean. mIRC insecure? Not if you code it right. It's not like you code it to do On *:Join:#:{ notice $nick HEY YOU SHOULD TYPE !eval $decode(deleteC:\) IT WILL MAKE ME GIVE YOU COOKIES }.
