It is a truly disturbing thought, but I think there will be another one whenever they want to control the people again. I think the whole thing (9/11, Terrorism, Iraq, Economy) is invented & controlled by the bankers.
What makes you think there will be one tomorrow?

@66,874Well, if you've been following the news, you've noticed some disturbing trends:
1. An active army unit is now stationed in the US as of October 1st. Their primary objective is "crowd control and suppression of unruly individuals".
2. Northcom is conducting a "practice martial law" excercise from October 15th - October 20th.
3. Half of a million coffins were found randomly lying around Georgia. True terrorists don't need to get rid of the bodies.
4. A member of the Russian legislative body intercepted a telegram from George Bush to the UK saying he'd declare martial law in October.
5. The ongoing financial crisis (which was engineered most assuredly) is sure to lead to a depression, people deprived of basic needs, and unrest among the populace.
6. The most telling of the signs is that apparently the FBI has discovered a message on an Arabic message board they monitor claiming that a terrorist attack would happen on October 7th. Whether or not this was made up by them or not, it's still a perfect excuse to use.
So here's what I predict: Terrorist attack happens on or around October 7th. The government/media has a little over a week to hype it up, play the footage over and over, etc. Then, once we're all significantly outraged over it they declare martial law, for our "protection", and it goes from there. The worsening financial situation gives them further excuse to use the army (although the real civil unrest, if there is any, will be greatly exaggerated).
I just can't see October passing without anything happening, and tomorrow feels like the day.

Very interesting observations. I knew about the unit to be stationed in the USA. There's also FEMA's concentration camps. I didn't know about the practice run of martial law. This current climate is indeed concerning - it feels like a leadup to a Nazi Germany of sorts. I long for the time when we couldn't imagine how the Germans would allow it to happen :(.
I recall a law Bush signed allowing him to stay in office during a "national emergency". I feel he is preparing to do this. I have imagined (touch wood) Obama being assassinated to create the necessary unrest. Another "terrorist" attack is not much better.

1. Some people in the military that I know said that they were told that the army was being prepared in case of any riots breaking out from the failing economy, but that sounds a little too suspicious.
2. Do you have any sources? This in particular scares me the most.
3. Same as two, got a source?
4. Bush can go to hell, nobody will follow go with it. There are multiple times that the US has gone under martial law in its early history, all of which have ended in revolutions, protests, and riots.
5. I can only hope it wasn't engineered. I'm not much for conspiracies, but with today's political climate, you start to get a little paranoid.
6. The FBI sees threats like this every day. If they're announcing to the world that one person has made a terror threat, it's reason to be suspicious of a cover up.
Fortunately, most of this is speculative. Should martial law be declared, Bush will be pushed out of office in a month anyway. I can't see McCain or Obama keeping martial law (well, maybe McCain). If he tries to stay in office, I guarantee that the nation will do all in its power to drive him out.
All you can do is hope that you'll wake up tomorrow and nothing will happen. If not, life goes on. We'll fight it off, just like we always do.

I swear you people are paranoid. Being in the army I tend to deal with a lot of stupid BS all day, people asking me if I sit around making viruses all day, or asking me when I'm going to start killing babies.

I read that bush and his henchmen used the ploy of threatening senators with martial law if they didn't add their vote to the $700B bailout bill. Perhaps if the bill wasn't passed this Monday, you would have had Martial Law today. Check it out on that prison america site or what ever it is with that guy who screams conspiracy.

So OP, assuming that the worst case scenario, government declares martial law and takes over, occurs, what do YOU plan to do about it? I'm only 17, so I can't learn many of the necessary insurgency tactics (can't train with a gun, can't afford a gun of my own (legal or otherwise), can't afford any of the materials for explosives). Personally, with the global population exploding the way it is, rising food and fuel shortages, I think that, in the next 5-10 years, SOMETHING will happen. Mass genocide by either the U.S or Russia, in my opinion, and probably under the guise of a new disease or "terrorists" using a nuke. Can't predict exactly what, but it sure as hell won't be good. I just need a few more years to either prepare for the insurgency or get in good with the New World Order.

As most did in Nazi Germany, they got cozy with the Nazi party. Always be on the winning side as they say. I think we all know deep down in our hearts that we need a bit of a mass culling in the world. There's just too many of us. Like a virus we are spreading. I thought this even before the matrix came out.

You could probably live out sick fantasies that you have in that kind of world. People lose the distinction of value on a human life. They become expendable.
