Isn't that just odd? Don't you kiss people you want to have sex with?

I kiss my mum on the lips. I've always done it since I was a child. But then again, we're very close. Not in an incestual kind of way.

Yes. But only when they're against child molesting and stuff.

I always looked down on it, but I don't think most other people do.

It's ok 'til the kid looks like they're 3+, then it's a little incestual-looking, to me.
Cheek, at most, is as far as I go with my parents.

I don't have a problem with it. In fact, I think if more parents showed more love to their children, including physical closeness (no, this is not a substitute term for "sex"), the world would be a better place.

I think a kiss on the cheek for mum is appropriate and a hug for dad that's at least how I think greetings should go.

Strangely enough, I kiss my dad on the lips and my mum on the cheek (most of the times, sometimes lips)
It doesn't seem gay, incestual or strange at all imo oO

@67,549Just noticed, I really shouldn't have wrote "strangely enough"…

If there is no sexual feelings behind it, i don't see what the problem is.

@67,421Do you ever stick your tongue in? That is just one step away from a kiss on the lips.

If you can't kiss your kid on the lips then the world is over.
Kissing isn't a sexual thing by default.

My mom always tries to kiss me on the lips, but I find it a bit creepy and always shy away, then she gets all offended
I can't help it, the thought of it just makes me cringe.

I kiss my parents on the lips. It's not sexual. How you view it depends mainly on your culture. Us Germanic / Nordic people can kiss each other and run around naked without anyone caring or thinking it's sexual.

Beacuase they have Pedo tendencies like my cousin he had pedo tendencies since he was young and now he kisses his son in the mouth, go figure.
