Topic: Can you say "tap a bath", or is the correct expression something different?

"Tap out a bath" or "tap up a bath", perhaps?

Maybe "tap a bath" makes it sound as if you are fucking the bathtub (due to the modern "tap" slang)?

Even slang words have multiple meanings (in fact, that is what makes them slang). Draw a bath is another way of saying it if you can use context clues.

Water taps, tap a bath…I got it and I'm not even British.

(OP is a brit, right?)

To me, "tap a bath" does sound sexual. From a non native speaker it would appear to be a bad translation. You would say "fill" or "run" the bath.
