Did they have the technology in like the 1950s?
How did they manage before being able to spy on their customers? I find this highly disturbing and I wouldn't be able to feel comfortable in a casino due to the "black eyes" lurking in the ceiling, constantly staring at me and recording everything. What if I wanna pick my nose? Make a funny face? Check out that hot babe?
Casinos today are like Google = zero privacy.

Even before CCTV casinos would employ "enforcers" or "bouncers" who had the job of watching everyone and everything in the gaming hall. Even today you never know when the other people at your table are spies who are watching you instead of actually gambling. Most people are well aware of the stuff that goes on, but they don't go to casinos for privacy, they go to gamble.
