I was wondering if anybody else has the same weird problems as me with vision. When I look at the sky I often see "sprites." They almost look like little fire flies of concentrated light. They really don't bother me overly much, but I never used to have them. I also have multiple floaters which I can see most of the time if I look for them. I only seemed to notice these things after experimenting with drugs. Is this just temporary or do floaters eventually settle and sprites go away?

Myodesopsia is the physical problem of having stuff inside your eyes. It mostly isn't treated, and lots of people who have it have it from birth. I know several people who suffer this affliction.

Yes. This is what I am talking about. Along with sprites.

I have these pretty badly I think from 3-4years of weekly drug use of all varieties but mostly ecstasy. I still take drugs though and don't find it terribly annoying. However a little worryingly the vision in one of my eyes has gotten worse over the last year, but I might just be getting old (?)

I don't think drugs cause those…

I have some floaters in one of my eyes. I first noticed them while swimming underwater with my eyes open at around 5 years old and they're still there.

I have floaters. They appeared somewhere around my 13th year for no obvious reason. 10 years later and they still annoy the shit out of me. I'm a bit short-sighted, so you can imagine my frustration when I want to look at something in the distance that gets obscured both by my bad sight and those little shits. I have them in both eyes.
Fuck.

I have those too, I thought they were just bits of dust on my eyeball.

I occasionally get fireflies. For people who've never had the experience, it's like seeing a swarm of tiny Fourth of July sparklers buzzing around on a virtual plane overlaid directly in front of your vision.

I have a floater in my right eye though only noticeable if I attempt to look at it by moving my eye and catching a glimpse of it. Rarely do I get fireflies. I smoke tobacco and marijuana from time to time, not sure if either have anything to do with it.
