I'd tried one ages ago and hated it. I believe it was the presence of water and hot that turned me off. I stuck to iced coffee from then on.
This time it wasn't bad at all.

I only drink my coffee black.
It's an acquired taste, like alcohol and kidney pie.

I've never tried black coffee, but my mother loves it.
Something tells me I'd find it repulsive. Maybe I'll try it one day, if I'm feeling adventurous (had a considerable amount of alcohol.)

I used to drink strong coffee with insane amounts of sugar and milk. I had so-called "sugar-high" and shivers for few hours after drinking it, but it kept me awake and coherent pretty well.
Nowadays, that mixture makes me sleepy. I tried lowering sugar and milk but it didn't help. Maybe trying coffee with milk but no sugar would work? (despite tasting awful)

I love strong black coffee- I can't go a day without a few cups. I hate all the ridiculous, overly sweet coffee drinks at Starbucks.

Well Op there are diffrent types of "regular" coffee, so I am not surprised you found one that was okay. On a similar not, I think I like regular coffee better then iced. Iced coffee always has a strange taste to me for some reason.

I drink coffee almost every day but only as a social thing. In Denmark, you almost always get asked if you want a cup of coffee if you are visiting someone, so I drink it although I find it kind of dull. I like the kinds of coffee you can find at Barezzo (The Danish version of Starbucks), but when it comes to brewing it myself it is just dull.
When I'm at home I normally drink different kinds of tea. I drink about two or three liters a day.

I never drank coffee before I worked at the coffee shop I work at. Then I drank a lot. Now I don't drink any.
