Topic: How the hell do they expect me to read Web articles with all these animated ads?

Seriously. It just cannot be done. What were they thinking? If anything moves on the screen, I cannot read the text (unless it's very short). I don't understand how anyone can put up with this…

Longer attention spans, better focus, and the ability to track multiple "targets" on screen is how people deal with these ads. These skills can be improve by playing first person shooter videogames, and are the same skills used for passing in a basketball game or reading road signs while driving. Most people have developed these skills enough to at least not crash into other vehicles.
