I think it's pretty awesome, sexy and what not. It also doesnt make a girl look slutty in my opinion either, it's just a different style. I'd say it's a common misconception that a girl with a tongue piercing is whoreish.

I think they accentuate whatever category the girl falls into in the first place. If she's skanky, she'll be more skanky with the tongue ring. If she's attractive she'll be more so with the tongue ring.
