Alpha Male here. I usually don't rant, but tonight's an exception. Individualism taken to its extreme pisses me the fuck off. I hate how Americans are so uncooperative. They fucking can't pull together and agree on anything. Nothing ever happens with Americans because they have no concept of social responsibility or commitment to a cause. No coherent social order ever seems to develop because every idiot thinks he's Lord of the Universe, and no stratification ever develops because everyone thinks they're at the top of the food chain.
Fuck, I hate my own people sometimes.

I think a lot of people are starting to feel the frustrations of our society. Not that it was any better back when we had "good family values", but all our shortcomings and arguing is just a lot more audible with the internet and television.
And on top of it, those of us who realize how bad we are and that we need to start agreeing on things know that we can't agree with others. If we give in and agree for the greater good, the wrong decisions will be agreed upon and those who have their high and mighty soap boxes will just feel empowerment of their own belief that they were right all along.
Smart people suffer.
headstrong egos go on unabated.

@68,440I'm glad somebody agrees. I'm just fed up. Terrible planning and social dischord may have just ruined my birthday party.
Just out of curiosity, are the French any better at cooperation than the Americans? I know the Japanese are.

Well, in actuality, EVERYWHERE is suffering right now.
Great Britian and Europe are starting to feel the whiplash from America's economic problems. Japan is starting to face a degeneration of it's social norms. (young generation and women of all ages refusing to go along with society) Russia and China have their own problems, though, I haven't kept up too much with them. A friend of mine had an art show in Hong Kong and traveled china when he was there and said it was very sad. In the cities outside of tourist areas, everything is dirty, the water is really bad and the air is categorized as unbreathable by health standards (even china's ones).
Africa and South America are somewhat stable, but the standard of living there isn't up to par in a lot of places.
And in Antarctica all hell's frozen over.
But on the other hand, there are areas doing ok.
New Zealand, Australia and India are doing quite well. With India making the most advances towards modern society/technology/infrastructure.

OP is right, America is the only place where argument and debate is existant.

@68,454Just to let you know, Great Britain is only mainland Scotland, England and Wales. You're meaning UK, and that's in Europe too.
