Hey guys, so I tried doing it with my guy, right. But he only goes in halfway after we got all worked up and past the excruciating pain, and it feels like continuing to push in is wrong since it hurts even more, doesn't give way like the first half of entering did, and as if there's no more room. Is this just me being way too tight deeper in my vagina, or is this the end of it or what?
Fyi, he's average size, so I don't get why it wouldn't go in all the way.

Virgin you say? Well, the breaking of that tissue can have some relatively long term pain. Best I can recommend is to try again another day. A majority of women like deep penetration, so if it hurts it could just be that tissue still being sensitive.

It could be that there was a need for more lubrication - maybe try some KY or similar next time.
Another possibility that I'm hesitant to mention without knowing more details and not wanting to worry you is that it could be due to vaginismus - this is where there is involuntary contraction of the pelvic floor muscles that makes penetration difficult and very painful for the girl. For more details check out google, wikipedia or www.vaginismus.com
My first girlfriend had problems with this but just put up with the pain for her first few boyfriends - when we got together we decided to do something about it, she had a single appointment with the GP (or "family doctor" or whatever they're called where you live) at the university health centre - a bit of discussion and some "homework" and within a couple of weeks it was gone for good (to our mutual great pleasure)
As I said, what you describe COULD be vaginismus but it's hard to tell for sure. Even if it is, it's possible that it won't happen next time you try - if it does, work on getting rid of it before it gets too established.
Hope this helps
Good luck and enjoy

Just an addition to the post above - I suggested google, wikipedia and www.vaginismus.com for more info - having just had another look at vaginismus.com I wish I hadn't suggested it, it seems WAY too keen on selling you "kits" and solutions. Better to stick to non commercial sources of information such as

Let him toy with you with his fingers one at a time that's what I did with GF when we were virgins.

Try doggy style. The vagina is NOT shaped like you see in most manga and even not like in many medical/anatomical depictions. See this image for a CORRECT depiction of the vagina that makes it quite clear why doggy style is probably a better position for you:
