I don't wanna hear that socialism is "communism light" or something vague like that. And I don't want Wikipedia links. Just explain the difference(s), please.

I feel very tempted to show you the copypasta like" Feudalism: you have two cows, you give some of your milk to your lord"

But basically Socailism is less facist and still has some private stuff.

Real communism means that there is no property and everyone is completely equal, however this could never work out (as humans are corrupt and will always try to put themselves higher than others).

Socialism means that the state controls some things but not all. For example in Germans some of the banks belong to the state. Socialized medicine is also one of the main points of socialism, to Americans this normally sounds like communism, but socialized medicine is a great thing if worked out properly.

haha, America will never have socialised healthcare, as they would never be able to work it properly as it's full of complete fuckwits.

Communism is where the wealth is split up evenly between everyone.

Socialism is where wealth it redistributed from the richest to the poorest.

America will not have socialized healthcare because the rich healthcare companies do not want to loose their advantage. If it did they would find the standards of care would be better and the healthcare system would be more efficient. At present those who can afford healthcare pay enormous amounts, a lot of which go to HMO fat cats instead of to their actual treatment. So in the end it sucks for everyone. Look at healthcare league tables and you will see that the USA is on par with third world countries.

Communism is basically everyone working together (strong left). Capitalism is basically every man for himself (strong right). Socialism is a mix of the two, things that are deemed important are shared, and things that are deemed less important are private.

It should be pointed out that in the United States, the government is the HMO Fat Cats. HMO's are an invention of their government, and were forced onto employers and insurance companies.

Healthcare also works out great in a free market, but you would have to let that market be completely free. The American government suffers from Niggaritis though. It's a common condition amongst many African Americans, and is classified as a mental disease. Those who suffer from it "can't let nobody have what they aint got".In the case of American government, this would be money.

Communism is Socialist economy mixed with Fascist government. That is the most simple way I can say it.

To be more exact, Socialism is everyone getting an equal share regardless of their effort. Communism is most people getting small shares, while the government and a few elites get massive shares, all in the name of "Our country is #1!" Communism just uses socialist theory and ideology to justify their actions to the people they enslave.

The difference between Socialism and Communism is the way the theory is applied. Socialism is getting robbed in the name of your fellow countryman, Communism is getting robbed in the name of your country.

Very simple.

Socialism is the use of the state to redistribute wealth to the poor.

Communism is defined differently, for instance in Marxism the plan is to abolish states and classes, Leninism creates a state which the intent of dramatically reducing class difference, Maoism actually retains a sense of classes…
They all have in common the dramatic reduction of inequality, sometimes absolutely. This is pretty silly because people have different abilities and efforts so it is fair to pay them differently. If people do earn differently, then you automatically end up with a class system of some form.
