Topic: Am I going about relationships the wrong way?

It seems like I only ever get interested in dating a girl when I think she's interested in me first. Is that wrong? I don't mean to be shallow or anything like that, it just always turns out that way.

i'm the same way. a girl who's attracted to me is more attractive than one who's not. hell, she obviously has a good taste in guys.

Well, people are typically more attracted to others who are attracted to them. For instance, dilated pupils are a sign of attraction, and if you see someone with dilated pupils, they seem more attractive to you. Reciprocation is also natural to most people, so if someone is attracted to you, you lean toward being attracted to them. If someone is interested in you, they're also more likely to try to hold a conversation with you, so you'll probably end up talking to them more than other people.

It's a bit strange that you are interested solely in the people who are attracted to you, though. If you're only that way because you don't want to actually put forth any effort in getting to know a lot of women, and just taking what's available, then that could be considered a problem. It's really up to you to decide, though. It all depends on what you want out of a relationship and what you're willing to do to meet that end.

@68,694

It's not so much that that's the only way I'll see something in a girl, but I only really start to actually consider it when I know that they like me. Thanks for the kernals of wisdom, though.
