This isn't a question of morality, I've stolen enough things in my time to not care anymore; SO - don't try to persuade me, tell me I'm wrong to do this, etc….
Since this morning, both of my neighbor's cars have been gone. The other day his car was on his front lawn for sale, and now I don't see it anymore. So I'm not quite sure if he has sold it, or if he's simply gone. His work truck is still outside, which makes me wonder.
Normally his car sits outside, as well as his wife's, and they've both been gone since this morning, which makes me think this might be a good opportunity to break into his house. I live a few houses down, so if I break into his house, and he's there, I could run to my house with a very slim chance that he'd see me. I'm wondering if anyone's done this before, anything I should know, etc.

Ive done it before
Throw a brand new ball into their back yard
Then go to their front door and ring the door bell for a good 10 minutes.
Listen for any noises
After this go home and wait 30 minutes. Then break into their house from the back yard.
I didn't steal anything, I just did it to sniff the families underpants. I took a few for later.
I didn't go through any personal information or anything of that sort.
Try not to damage anything. But if all doors and windows are locked properly, then make it look like the wind blew something onto the window.

I am a little old to be playing with balls.
On my way home I noticed that one of their cars is back and the lights are on. I could even hear a TV/music from outside as well. I live in an area where people like to tote guns around (Iowa) and I'm slightly worried that if I just bust into his house that I'm going to get fucking shot, and that is obviously not a good way to go.

Do you know their phone numbers? (mobile and land line). Go to a public phone or use some other untraceable phone to call them and see if they pick up. Bonus if you're standing outside and don't hear their mobile going off inside. Then, if the house is empty and the doors and windows are all locked, find something that's leaning against the house or a fence and use it to smash a window, like someone else said make it look like the wind. Also, if they have a dog you would be surprised how easy they are to shut up with treats or a slab of raw steak.
Also, always wear gloves and bring a towel to clean up footprints and stuff. Never leave anything there. If you have time, you could always make a perfect byte for byte copy of his computers HDD. You can then take that home and run recovery software on it to find his porn and secrets and stuff.

@68,858I don't have numbers, but I could grab his work number off of his truck and easily find his number in the phone book. How would I make a copy of his hd? Bring a external one? Anyone know the number to dial that will make your phone show up as a private call? *76 maybe, does that cost money?

@68,859I feel like a god when I'm doing stuff like that, just so much fun and power and yeah, so great. I would kill people if they somehow got through my computer's defenses, no really, I don't think it would be smart if I let them live. I remember some kid on here I think once said something about raiding houses trash for computer parts, putting a number on them and then marking the location of the house on a gps system. Then he would go home and find what he could on the drives, looking for CP and financial stuff, anything he could blackmail people with and added the findings along with the houses address and people who lived there's details into some huge database he could turn to if something went bad and he needed money. The idea was if they didn't send him money straight away he would tell them he had destroyed the stuff and that he was sorry or whatever and went onto the next person in his database. That way people were less inclined to tell the authorities.
