Topic: Someone accessing my Dabs account?

Dabs.com is a website for buying tech-related products in the UK. I just logged in there to check how much an item was and there was something in my shopping basket that I'm certain I didn't put there. Checking my order history, nothing has been bought by anyone else. My online bank statement doesn't show anything that I didn't buy myself in it.

Right now I'm on a laptop whereas its more likely that my desktop computer was the one that was "compromised" if one was, just because this laptop is new-ish. What should I do?

As long as it's just in the "shopping basket", it's not "critical" (IMO). Maybe you forgot that you added it there or maybe you did it by mistake…

I just realised that my debit card has the wrong code saved in the secure buy thing and they want me to phone up to change it, so I've been using Paypal to buy stuff from Dabs. Maybe that's why they had difficultly ending the purchase. I already deleted the card from the account anyway.

It's possible I did something by mistake, but the item is a Sat Nav system for a car. I don't even own a car. I would not have been browsing anywhere near that part of the site.

Maybe you got somebody else's session? Their Web site is probably crappily coded.

Oh, I never thought about that. I don't know much about computers but I get the idea of what you mean. Is that plausible?
