When the stock market crashed in the winter of '08, several large multi-national conglomerates all made competing bids for stake in the last few remaining cash cows of the declining Western civilization. Ultimately, in the abysmal first few months of spring, the radical economic effects caused by the Bailout Bill effectively created a schism between everything the government owned stake and the private sector. New president of the United States of America, Barrack Obama, blunders his inexperienced way through the first month of politics in the international theater, and he and the CIA are unable to prevent the Chinese from backing local warlords in Africa, stabilizing the region and consolidating their interests in African oil fields. Obamas liberal spending programs further strain the U.S. treasury, and they are unable to further the war efforts in the Middle East. This forces the European nations to each make their own bids in the Middle East and throughout the Balkans. America allies with the U.K., Japan, Switzerland, Canada, Australia and Germany in what is known as the Eurasian Dynasty. Subsequently, France, Italy, the Ukraine, The Republic of Kazakhstan, Denmark, Greece, Iran, and many other European countries all joined the United European Union. China swiftly followed, allying with South America, North Korea, Russia, the Philippines, and Taiwan. WWIII gentlemen.

Ok, that's the good news. The bad news is that the fallout of nuclear war and incredible scientific advancement in the private sector leads to a new and terrifying world where you kill or be killed. Expect anything to try to hunt you down and kill you, from rap-happy wiggers with sidearms to android armies and/or zombies. So I ask you…

This fucking sounds like the game Fallout. Fallout of nuclear war? Incredible scietific advancement in the private sector?

I would be a nomad or wanderer; a base would not be ideal in this situation. Supplies for a base will inevitably run out, and it probably wouldn't be a good idea to stay in one place for a long amount of time. I would wander around surviving off the land and abandoned resources until I come across a town or city with a reasonably stable infrastructure.

If the fallout happens to be really bad, then a base would be necessary. I would find an abandoned industrial structure to live in, since those buildings were designated as fallout shelters in the past. A radiation suit would be necessary whenever I need to go out and find supplies. Other than that, there's not much else I can do. Hopefully I've got a gun, some reading material, and a Geiger counter.

How can you bring Obama into this? Whoever takes office is the fall guy for the Bush administration.

Who advocated Fannie/Freddie giving loans to low income earners? Who has warmongered the middle east for the past 8 years? Continuity of Government? Attempted to set up a "coalition of the willing"? Provoked Iran, Russia, Pakistan etc?

I would not be surprised if the elections are postponed indefinitely - we shall see. Robbing America's wealth then starting WW3 for a one world economy is Bush's plan.
