Does anyone else really love thunderstorms?
I live in Australia you see, so it barely rains heavily and rarely results in a thunderstorm.
There was always something fun about playing in puddles as a kid, so whenever it rains, I like to go for a walk outside.
I guess that's why thunderstorms seem so awesome to me: the sounds of rain pouring down, the flash of lightning followed the the low, building rumble of the thunder, the smell of wet grass and the joys of empty streets. There's also the possibility that I might get killed by a lightning strike which just adds to the excitement.
Does anyone else feel this way?

I don't get thunderstorms where i live, but i do enjoy the rain. Just walking around in it and feeling it all over, kind of makes me day. It's a shame that it usually only rains in the middle of the night.

I absolutely love thunderstorms have I have since I was a little girl. Tornado warning are great, too. When sirens go off, people go chill out in the garage with the door open the listen for it. The -only- time I don't want a thunderstorm is when I'm on a bike tour. Then it's a problem of having enough daylight left after the storm to dry out. Also, I spent a week in Mexico as a kid, and saw the most incredible thunderstorms, the memory of which makes me a little disappointed in the ones I get (I'm in minnesota).

@69,321lol. MEXICO. You could have simply gone Southwest a few hundred miles to Tornado Alley during spring/summer.
Yes I like Thunderstorms, one of my obsessions when I was younger was weather.
