Are toads especially horny? Aren't bunnies the stereotypically horny animals?

Maybe it's referring to the horned toad, which literally has horns on its body.

I've never heard that expression, though.

I have frequently heard horned toads referred to as "Horneetoads". It's just splitting this slang(ish) version apart.
