Topic: Regaining or saving an accent

I lived in SoCal until 3 years ago. Orange County, actually. Now I live in Arkansas and have that shitty Southern drawl.

I would like to regain my SoCal accent, or, at the least, lose this hick accent. Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

I would suggest working on it by trying to suppress the particular drawl type emphasis that is typical of a southern accent. However throughout my experiences I have found that only moving away from a certain location can completely eliminate a previous accent.
