What is the world coming to? Does a person not have the right to privacy anymore? I'm glad I don't live in the UK.

If you actually read the article, what they are suggesting isn't so bad.

Is france that bad? Maybe Canda isn't such a bad option.

Tor won't do anything because your ISP can still see what you're doing, but then again they're not going to be watching random people that closely.

Oh my god, another supporter of the "ISPs can break encryption" bullshit. Well here's some new for you: they can't. Don't listen to all the FUD about AES being weak in some way, because trust me that if it was, your ISP snooping on you would be the last thing you'd be worrying about (your bank uses that same algorithm, as do all major ecommerce sites, not to mention the government).

Forget all the wild stories you hear on paranoid tinfoil discussion boards, ISPs cannot break AES, hence cannot spy on people using Tor.

And if you don't believe me, go read up about the algorithm yourself.

The internet is the last place freedom of speech is still applicable! We still have to be careful as consequences are still there, just they are virtual. I hate the idea of the legal system looking at what I choose to say.

Screw dick-potatoship.
