Hi AT,

I'm 21 years old and have a bit of money saved up from getting a ridiculously good job at 19, but I'm starting to become a bit disillusioned with my desk job and my study. I'd like to do something totally crazy that will make a story to last forever. I have a plan, but I don't know if it will work. Tell me what you think:

You are approached by a member of the opposite sex who you either vaguely know or don't know at all. They say to you:
"if someone asked you to drop everything and come on an all expenses paid trip to the other side of the world, to stray off the beaten track and see the world up close and personal - but you have to come right now, would you do it?"
You might laugh and think "how fucking unlikely is that?" and say "sure, why not?"
But then they say "OK. I'll call a cab. Let's go."

What do you do? Would you go through with it? If a girl/guy asked you to come on a spontaneous, international trip, would you come along? Girls, I'm particularly interested in what you think, but I'd be interested if any guys would be willing to drop their entire lives for a few weeks to see the world for free. If I get positive responses, I'll probably do this by the end of the year.

I'm also interested to know what some good locations might be for a spontaneous international trip. It'll probably be largely limited by what the airport can sell us at the last-minute, but I'd still like to hear what ideas you have.

As a location I would say India, China or Mexico.

My idea of an adventure was dropping everything and just hike into the depth of the Canadian Forests, stay for an unknown amount of time, living from nature, hunting with a spear if unnecessary. Maybe build my own shack with an ax made of stone. Maybe I'll decide to live like that forever, maybe I will move back because it is not my type of lifestyle.

Other good location would be the Russian Tundra.

I would not do this, unless I knew ahead of time. I've got some things that really can't just be dropped. A week's notice or even 4 days is enough though.

I would totally do this as a guy, assuming that I didn't completely hate the chick who asked me. But I'd have to hate them alot because anyone who asked me this would be really cool.
Some places I'd like to go would be China, India, or somewhere in the Carribean.

Go to Laos the people are amazing, they have next to no money and the little money they do have they spend on massive speakers for there many parties… Banging!
