Topic: Does anyone watch Dexter?

For those who do not know, Dexter is a television show on Showtime.

Anyway, has anyone noticed a serious drop is production value in the new season? I haven't watched the most recent episode, but the last two looked like they were filmed on some really shitty hand-held camcorders. There was one scene where Dexter and that Latin guy are standing in the rain in a backyard, and the quality was so awful I was considering to just stop watching the show all together. I really hope it was just a rush job on a couple episodes… I love this show and the story.

Well, I don't remember it seeming as if it was recorded on some cheap camcorder (and it definitely did not look low quality, even on my average non-HD TV). However, the slightly shaky camera is just meant to emphasize Dexter's state of panic. He heard a sound while in the kill room, and naturally was scared of being caught.

I've been watching it, and I really haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. The only thing I'm mad about is how long it took to get the new season started.

No, but that's always everyone first thought when Dexter is mentioned. :P It's a really good show, it's about a guy named Dexter who works for the Miami Metro Police during the day as a blood spatter analyst, and is a serial killer by night. However, he doesn't kill random, innocent people, he only kills other murderers who have found a way to escape the law. It's a great show, I'd recommend renting or buying the DVD's or just watching it online.
