Topic: How can I make the Windows Aero "_ [] X" buttons thicker?

I want to be able to see and click these buttons easily, under my Winamp tool bar. However, they are almost identical in size, which is very frustrating! So, how can I make them thicker so they are more visible under the always on-top tool bar?

I hope you understand what I mean…

I think the best way to fix this is to download a new skin for Winamp that makes it smaller. This is what I did. Alternatively you could move the Winamp bar to the bottom of your screen.

1. Control Panel → Personalize → Window Color and Appearance → Open classic appearance properties for more options
2. Select Windows Aero, pick advanced
3. Select "Caption Buttons" from the drop-down
4. Adjust "Size" field to desired size
5. Apply changes.
