Compliments and compliments.

Work out what you find attractive about her looks and her personality. When you let her know these things, you can tell her honestly and openly and she will realize that they are genuine and she will love you for it. (One reason why I love you is…, what makes you distinct beautifully from those other girls is…)

Then try and work out what she is a little shy about, and what she likes about herself, then compliment her on them in a much lighter way. (Babe, you know you have the best… in the world, you have to be careful, your … is an illegal weapon. If the compliment is obviously IN-genuine, the receiver will still feel good about the praise because you are giving them good attention and showing that you want them to feel good, it also makes them happy in the way that the genuine compliment does, but not as much.

If she doesn't take genuine compliments well, it's because she doesn't trust them, and this may be because she has been given what seemed to be genuine compliments before and then found out it was a trick and they weren't genuine. If she doesn't take genuine compliments well, stick to the obviously in-genuine compliments, then when she is taking them well and knows that your in-genuine compliments are genuinely meant to make her feel good, then you might break her heart with love when you can tell her what you honestly like about her. If you give her in-genuine compliments and try to make them seem honest, she will love it for a while, but will soon probably realize that your phony, and if she has either had this before too many times, or hasn't been aware of this before and thinks its a terrible terrible thing, then you may find your throat at the razor sharp edge of a heart broken.
