I have an event to promote and I want to find some software that would allow me to send mass e-mails and make multiple posts on forums and a certain imageboard without a botnet — if something like that exists, that is.

Why do you even care what the media says? Unless you're just trying to become internet famous, in which case there are much easier ways.
