To answer that question you need to figure out when "normal" humanoid robots will be perfected/ avaliable. As for brainwashed, I doubt it, whichever way you look at it is a biological human and therefore they have rights (possably a soul?) as one (a human) more importantly if they have to brainwash them does that mean there was something to wash in the firstplace?
