Topic: Foreskin restoration

This is a topic I have done a lot of research on. I'm talking about gradual skin-stretching to restore the foreskin to its full size. Based on my research, it seems that the majority of the disadvantages of being circumcised can be fixed and that the restored forskin is only in minor ways worse than the original foreskin.

Nonetheless, restoration is a process requiring a lot of effort and so I have a remaining question that needs to be answered before I'll be happy to start.

What I'd like to know is about the prospect of future advances in surgical restoration. Currently, the surgical method used is to reconstruct a foreskin from skin from other areas of the body, and this method is usually considered inferior to non-surgical restoration in results.

My question therefore is this: Are there likely to be any new developments in this field, and when? Will it ever be possibly to create a fully functioning foreskin surgically? It seems to be me that this is a lucrative field and I imagine that much research is going into it, but personally I don't know much at all that could help me find out if this is realistic. If you do know, please respond.

Sure, why not? For example, as you know, stem cells can develop into all kinds of tissue. But I think it will take years, if not decades until the first therapies will arrive. But from what I have seen, the current therapies work fine as well, you should consider doing it.

I know a little about stem cells; I don't know to what degree severed nerve endings can be repaired through their use, or if the ridged band or frenar band could potentially be repaired or reconstructed. Do you?

I forgot to address this previously. I don't know if by current therapies you're talking about surgical or non-surgical methods. I am on the verge of starting on a non-surgical restoration, so yes I have been considering =)

Thanks but no thanks. You seem to be moving towards a cut vs uncut thread; if so make your own or use one that already exists for that purpose. If you are happy without foreskin, I wouldn't like to be the one to change that.
