Anyone got an Eggdrop with A.L.I.C.E. AI? If so, make it join the IRC channel!

No, DON'T! Alice responds to everyone — that would get way too annoying! You can't have a normal conversation in a channel with an Alice chatterbot running. Besides, it's not loli-like in its responses.
Project idea of AT: How about if we (as a group) codify some AIML that actually is loli-like? You know, the same question set in the Alicebot AIML script, but the answers all changed to responses which might be uttered by a typical loli? It would be a fun and interesting group project, yes? Who's in?
Also — I could host the eggdrop front end, the tcl adaptor, and the alice binary on one of my servers, no problem. Hosting the bot is not an issue.

@29,502Cool… but what exactly should we do? I don't know Tcl, but if there is a plaintext file of phrases or things the bot can say, I'd be happy to edit that!

The tcl is used in adapting the alicebot to an eggdrop bot. All you need to learn is aiml — which is actually easier than html (and quite similar). It's just chat responses you'll be taking out and changing. I'd just download the existing Alice code and change all (or most of) the responses, for example…
<pattern>what do you like to eat?</pattern>
<template>I only eat electricity.</template>
becomes…
<pattern>what do you like to eat?</pattern>
<template>Loli like pizza.</template>
Or whatever — you get the idea.

So who is in? I volunteer to host the bot, who wants to code the aiml? This is a major project, to change Alice into a loli requires changing every response in the complete Alice aiml software package. The last I recall looking at it — it was fucking HUGE! It would be better if it was a team effort, we all take one section of it at a time and do it in concert. So who is in?

@29,559Well… the "Standard AIML" has a broken/unavailable link (and it's not even recommended to use anymore, according to the comment text), so which of these should we use to base Lolitbot on?
