And, yes, it is somewhat surprising that the site closed. For one thing, the site was 100% legal. They also paid for their own hosting and domain, as opposed to using some sort of flimsy free site like proboards, which gives them an expectation not to be fucked with by retarded free-board sites that close boards down simply because don't want to be associated with legal yet frowned upon content.

From the way you're talking about it, it sounds like this was a preteen model board? Many US hosts don't like that.

modelsarchive.org was a collection of piratebay users who banded together to create the largest index of agencies and models, with links to rapidshare, megaupload, etc.
it was a site almost to good to last…
but yes, im in the boat with the other guys, STILL trying to find a decent alternative.
PB is the only thing that has any longevitiy to it.
