At one point, one of the kids sing: "Hope he hasn't died!", referring to Jack, but in the beginning of the movie, Jack sings that: "And since I am dead, I can take off my head!". So… is this a "bug" in the story? Jack is dead, but the kid hopes that he hasn't… died… :-S
This really bugs me.

That came out a bit blunt. I ment that if you think to much about these things you'll end up causing alot of undue stress. Jack I believe is undead. So think of him more as a zombie. Zombie's are pretty much just humans with a second chance so jack can in fact die again. He is both dead and alive in a sense. Dead by the fact that he is a corpse but alive in a magical way I suppose.

I would have gone with the term "Suspend disbelief!" rather than "Stop thinking." Like you said, it's fantasy, it doesn't have to make sense. ♥

fantasy has its own internal rules. these rules, when followed consistently, allow for a suspension of disbelief.
when these rules are violated, belief ends and the spell is broken.
plot mistakes make the fantasy a lie. the magic of fiction comes from its internal consistency, not from my willingness-as spectator-to ignore its flaws.

Perhaps you should listen to the first replier (not his first reply, his second).
Take me for example:
I'm a pretty nice and understanding individual who will listen to people's problems when they come along for emotional support. Although I generally keep my opinions to myself, when I do approach that breaking point, I make sure to just tell it like it is and be as blunt as I darn well please, but all the while, be as polite, calm, and understanding as I can be. I rarely tolerate stronger people oppressing those weaker, though, like I stated before, I try not to start a fight (except for one occasion, but no one got hurt, so it's okay). As I'm sure you can tell, I don't have too many enemies, or rather, people that would go out of their way to harm me. However, I constantly find myself reading all of these books in which I really connect with the main character, and said main character as someone that seems like a friend, but wants nothing more than to kill the one I connect with. With this being said, I ultimately end up having this constant thought in my mind that someone is out to get me!
My point here is this: sometimes you should just take things as they come, not try and process every single detail.
(that was WAY too long, sorry.)
